Valtronics sponsors the 20th Annual Capital City Pumpkin Drop hosted by BridgeValley and AEP.

Valtronics is a contributing sponsor to the 20^th Annual Capital City Pumpkin Drop hosted by BridgeValley Community & Technical College and AEP. This is a fun and engaging educational opportunity for West Virginia students to design a container that will protect a pumpkin dropped from a designated height. More than 1,200 students from 39 schools will put their ideas to the test and watch the pumpkins hit the ground on Thursday, October 18, 2018at the Charleston, WV Appalachian Power Park. Three grade level categories will compete for the honor of Grand Slam Pumpkin.The goal for the event is to get West Virginia’s youth interested in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) related fields. The winning teams will be presented with monetary awards.
